Security and data
How Closa handles your data
Each workspace's data is kept separately and only its members can see it. Data is hosted with Render in the United States and recordings in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Recordings go to OpenAI for transcription and transcripts to Anthropic for analysis; neither trains on it. AI calls are logged by cost and length, never text.
What Closa holds
- Call recordings and transcripts you upload, including the words and names of the people on the calls.
- What Closa finds in each call, your deals, deal reviews, follow-up email drafts and coaching notes.
- Your team's accounts and roles.
- A HubSpot connection, encrypted, when an owner or manager connects it.
- Billing: plan and subscription status. Card details are held by Stripe.
How long it’s kept, and how to export or delete it
Recordings are deleted 30 days after upload unless the workspace chooses 7 or 90 days or to keep them; transcripts, findings and reviews stay until the call, deal or workspace is deleted. Owners and managers can export everything as JSON, delete all recordings at once, or delete the workspace. The try page stores nothing pasted.
The full detail is in Closa’s data export and deletion policy.
Who processes it
Service providers (subprocessors), each on our instructions and only for the purpose shown:
- Render: hosting, databases and backups, in the United States.
- Cloudflare: private file storage (R2).
- Stripe: subscription and license payments (card details go to Stripe, never to us).
- Resend: sending email.
- OpenAI: transcribing call recordings.
- Anthropic: finding the evidence in transcripts and drafting deal reviews.
